4 more days to go!

I think we are just about set. We had our Hep A vaccinations last Friday, and over the weekend celebrated early Easter with my parents since we will be with our daughter in Colombia for Easter! I'll also be missing my Mom's 60th birthday, but she says it doesn't matter since we'll be bringing home the greatest gift she could ask for - her first grandchild!
I've been making lists for weeks now, and it is finally time to take everything from the lists and hope they fit into our suitcases. Still wondering how one packs "lightly" when you are going to be in another country for over a month. :o)

Our visas have arrived!

Yesterday I picked up our visas at the post office.
One more thing to check off our list.
Only 2 more weeks to go!!!

A very special thank you to Tamara, Anne, Craig and Max for everything they did for the shower on Saturday. I really appreciate everything they did to make it such a special day.

Paul and I are very blessed to have the support of family and friends in our long wait to become parents, and I think everyone is just as excited as we are to meet the special child God has chosen for us. Sofia has so much love waiting for her when she comes home!

Sofia's cousin, Max drew these pictures for her room. I hung them up so they will be there when we come home :o)

We have a travel date!

Shower in Marshfield

Saturday my aunt and cousins helped my Mom have a shower in Marshfield. It was such a special day in so many ways. Sofia is loved so much already and we won't even meet her for another month!
