The Encuentro went better than we anticipated. When she was first handed to Daddy, she screamed and reached for Mami, but then settled down pretty quick. 
We gave her the little bunny and blankie we brought for her, but the real smiles came when Daddy broke out the Cheerios! We found out quickly how much she likes to share, and she proceeded to give Cheerios to everyone - Mami, Daddy, Patrice (our interpreter), and ICBF staff. No crying when we left the office either. She just clung to me and then fell asleep on the way back to the Hotel.
Mmmmm........Cheerios!
